I founded Partnership Behavior Group because I believe families deserve a true partner, not just a service provider.

Over the last two decades, I’ve worked as a behavior analyst, special educator, school administrator, and Director of Special Education here in Monterey County. In every role, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from children, families, and the professionals who support them.

One experience has stayed with me. A parent called me looking for advice because her ABA provider had told her that if she wanted therapy services, she needed to withdraw her child from school. As both a special education leader and a behavior analyst, that was deeply concerning to me. Families should never be forced to choose between the supports their child needs. The best outcomes happen when schools, therapists, physicians, and families work together.

That belief became one of the foundations of Partnership Behavior Group.

Today, we’re a locally owned, clinician-led practice focused on early intervention for young children with autism. We use play-based, evidence-based approaches, including the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), and provide coaching and support for parents every step of the way.

We may be a small practice, but that’s intentional. It allows us to build real relationships, collaborate with the other people in a child’s life, and stay focused on what matters most: helping children learn, grow, and thrive while supporting the families who love them.

That’s why we call ourselves Partnership Behavior Group. Partnership isn’t just part of our name. It’s the reason we exist.
