We founded Partnership Behavior Group because families deserve a true partner, not just a service provider.

Our clinical director, John Dailey, has spent the last two decades in Monterey County as a behavior analyst, special educator, school administrator, and Director of Special Education. In every role, he learned from the children, families, and professionals he worked alongside.

One experience stayed with him. A parent called looking for advice because her ABA provider had told her that if she wanted therapy services, she needed to withdraw her child from school. As both a special education leader and a behavior analyst, that was deeply concerning. Families should never be forced to choose between the supports their child needs. The best outcomes happen when schools, therapists, physicians, and families work together.

That belief became one of the foundations of Partnership Behavior Group.

Today we’re a locally owned, clinician-led practice focused on early intervention for young children with autism. We use play-based, evidence-based approaches and provide coaching and support for parents every step of the way.

We may be a small practice, but that’s intentional. It allows us to build real relationships, collaborate with the other people in a child’s life, and stay focused on what matters most: helping children learn, grow, and thrive while supporting the families who love them.

That’s why we call ourselves Partnership Behavior Group. Partnership isn’t just part of our name. It’s the reason we exist.
